Ricky Kreklow has been on Creighton's recruiting radar longer than Coach McDermott has been at Creighton, and the 6-foot-5 guard decided to spend his final year of college basketball with the Bluejays.
The former Missouri Tiger and Cal Bear will make Creighton his next and final stop, according to sources close the the CU program. The shooting guard will be immediately eligible, as he is graduating from Cal Berkley this spring.
The Missouri native was limited due to injury in his two seasons at Cal but still held scholarship offers from a couple schools near home. Kreklow instead chose to walk-on at CU. The Jays and assistant coach Darian DeVries were highly involved in Kreklow's recruitment out of Rock Bridge High School in Columbia.
